Let's Grow Knoxville's Green Economy!

With sponsorship from the UT Provost’s Office, the Office of the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, UT’s Office of Research, UT’s Institute of Agriculture, the Bredesen Center for Interdisciplinary Research and Graduate Education, the College of Business Administration, the City of Knoxville, and the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce,we are organizing the first community forum centered on growing Knoxville's green economy.  The forum is focused on identifying the bridges and barriers to economic and job growth in our local green economy. The greater Knoxville area is the second most rapidly growing green economy in the nation. We are seeking to build long-term collaborative partnerships with  local leaders in business, the community, and government to ensure our continuing growth and leadership in this sector.

The forum is an all day event, scheduled for March 1st in the Haslam Business Building, located on UT campus.
